MOBILITY ADDS EFFICIENCY

Choose from the wide array of stem casters to make ISS shelving units mobile. For rough floors, select resilient casters. They’re long lasting, quiet and inexpensive. For demanding environments such as extremes in temperature or the presence of solvents or organic chemicals, polyurethane casters are a must. They are non-marking and prevent undue wear on floors and carpeting. In many applications, it is practical to order two swivel casters and two swivel with brake casters. The swivel with brake are normally installed on diagonally opposite corners of the shelving unit. This allows the brake to be applied when pushing from either end of the cart.

To make it easy to order, we’ve created one catalog number to represent four shelves, four posts, four DB5 bumpers and the indicated casters. Carts in other sizes and finishes can be obtained by ordering the individual components.
